JOIN THE 2024-2025 PAC!

There are five elected positions on the PAC (Chair/Co-Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and DPAC rep). We also have four subcommittees (Byng Arts, Equity & Diversity, Fundraising & Events, and Safety). Please see the slides from the Sept 18 PAC meeting for more info (link here). Parents/Guardians are welcome to nominate themselves for any of the elected positions or to sign up to help with any of the subcommittees. Parents/guardians who are interested in joining the 2024-2025 PAC need to attend the Oct 23, 2024 PAC AGM. Several of the current exec members will be running for re-election, but please nominate yourself and/or sign up for a subcommittee. We will try hard to make sure everyone who wants to can join the PAC.

PAC meetings are held in person in the Library or via Zoom. 

The Byng Library is on the 2nd floor. Enter the school via the doors closest to the basketball courts. Go up the stairs and the library is right there. 


PAC meetings provide an opportunity to socialize with other parents, learn more about the school, and discuss issues of concern to parents, students and staff. The principal gives an update at each meeting, and teaching staff are often invited to speak. In addition, at some meetings, guest speakers from the community give presentations on topics of interest to parents and guardians.
